Welcome to my webpage! I have been teaching the elements of Reading and English Language Arts since 1989. I began providing reading and writing instruction to the students of Enosburg Falls High School in 1997. During those years I have worked with all grade levels, 9~ 12, in settings which have included working with individual students, small groups, team teaching with other Special Ed. teachers, and assisting all students while collaborating with English teachers in their classes. No matter what age my students are, I enjoy helping them gain the foundational skills needed to master our language, and guiding them to appreciate the adventures they can experience through it. This year I will be teaching Reading I and 2, Intensive Reading, and Real World English along with a Math Foundations and Consumer Math class at EFHS.
I am originally from New York State. I got my Elementary Education and Math degrees from SUNY Geneseo. Deciding to continue my education, I got a Masters degree as a Reading Specialist from University at Albany. After teaching for 11 years in New York, my husband and I, along with our two children, moved to St. Albans, Vermont in 1998.
