I am excited to begin my second year as the Behavior Specialist at EFHS. I have a strong passion to help students succeed and overcome behavioral challenges that may happen throughout the school day. I strongly believe in making connections with the students that I work with as well as their families. I currently support the CORE academy and TAPS program as well as collaborating with teachers around specific student behavior needs in their classrooms. I have been in the field of behavior for 6 years. In my role, I support students and teachers by conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and creating individualized Behavior Intervention Plans to support decreasing challenging behavior. I am originally from Milton, Vermont and have really enjoyed working in Franklin County. In May of 2011, I graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with a BA in creative writing and communications. In December of 2013, I graduated from the University of New York at Plattsburgh with an MA in secondary education. I am currently pursuing licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Florida Institute of Technology. In my free time, I look forward to continue working with and watching the students grow and succeed.
