Dear EFHS Students, Parents, and/or Guardians,
Due to the significant rise in COVID+ cases in Franklin County and particularly in our local communities, we will be shifting to remote learning next week from 02/15/21- 02/19/21. Enosburg Falls High School is making this shift due to anticipated staff shortages.
Before Thanksgiving break, and again following the holiday break, we developed and shared with all of you a schedule for remote learning days in preparation for this possibility. We will be using the 5- day or fewer schedule (the green and gold one). That schedule is attached to this email. It is also posted on our high school website, as well as on facebook. We have also created a Remote Learning Parent Handbook, which is attached as well. If you have any questions at all about this next week of remote-only learning, including questions about the schedule that is included here, please feel free to reach out to your teachers via email.
Please note: even though Enosburg Fall High School will be operating in a remote-only model, EFHS sports teams will still be practicing and playing as usual. Unless it is discovered that there is an increase of infections that would compromise our ability to offer sports programs, the winter sports schedule will remain the same.
If you have enrolled in food delivery and are in the Monday-Tuesday (Green) cohort, your food will be delivered on Monday, 2/15/21. On Wednesday, 2/17/21, the regular food delivery will happen for those who are enrolled. If you have enrolled in vacation meal pick up those meals will now be delivered to you on Friday, 02/19/21. This delivery will contain food for the entirety of the vacation week.
