This is my first year at EFHS, and I am proud to be joining this community. This year I will be working as the Special Education Teacher for the 10th grade team here at Enosburg Falls High School. In this capacity, I will be supporting 10th grade students and teachers throughout the year and act as the case manager for 10th grade students in special education. In my role, I will be supporting students both inside and outside of their mainstream classes. You will see me working with a wide variety of students in Math, Literacy, Science and Social Studies classes. It is my goal to provide all students with the skills they need to succeed in the classroom, and teachers with the help they need to meet the needs of all students. I look forward to working with and getting to know each of you as this school year progresses.
A little bit about me:
I am originally from Rhode Island, and I moved to Vermont to attend Saint Michael's College. Currently I live in Jericho with my wife and our dog. In addition to being a special educator, I am also a licensed History teacher. I was a competitive swimmer for much of my youth and continue to coach swimming during summer breaks. During my free time I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, and playing a variety of boardgames.
In the past I have worked in an alternative program for the Burlington School District and as a 1:1 instructional assistant in Winooski. It is my firm belief that all students need the resources and the support to be available for learning if they are to succeed in the classroom. Please do not hesitate to approach me if you have questions or need help with anything at all.
